About Me

​

I'm a third-generation Austinite passionate about making memories and capturing them through my lens! Apparently, the whole "Take a picture, it will last longer" thing really stuck with me. When I look at a photo, it's easy for me to relive the thoughts and emotions I had when it was taken. It makes some pretty great memories stay alive with me long after I would have otherwise forgotten them. That ability feels like a magic to me, and taking photos allows me to pass on that magic to others.

I've been a freelance photographer for over ten years now, but for me, taking photos dates back to when I was eight years old. My grandma would hand me a disposable camera at every family function. For her, it was probably a way to keep me busy; but for me, it was  a chance to let my imagination run wild and capture all the little things I found interesting. Twenty years later it's still as exciting, albeit a tad more refined.

If we get the chance to work together, it's important to me to make sure you are enjoying yourself, comfortable, and having fun! I want to capture real smiles, laughs, and moments. I'll work with you to make you feel comfortable, will enjoy getting to know you, and will be   thankful that you let me be a part of memories that would otherwise only belong to you. The fact that I get to be there capturing it is so sweet, and that's not lost on me.

If you're wondering where to catch me in my free-time, or when I'm not behind the lens, you can find me working at the non-profit I help run, hanging out with my boyfriend and his three cats, chasing after my nieces and nephews, hopping on a plane to my next adventure, or eating all the really good food Austin has to offer.

Working With Me

When I work with my clients, I strive to get to know them and understand their personalities and relationships. Are y'all goofy fam? Let's play into that! Are you head over heels in love? Let's get you cozy! The point is to capture who you are in my photos. I often tell my clients "if you're uncomfortable, it will show" - so to me, it's of utmost importance that we foster a comfortable, carefree, and fun atmosphere when we shoot. But don't worry, I have many tricks up my sleeve to get us to that place if you're one of those people who hates getting their photo taken. (I'm right there with you.) My years of experience has collected me a lot of tips, tricks, and tools to help my clients get comfortable and genuine in front of my lens. Don't take my word for it, just check out what people are saying!
